So my time is closing up here in Australia and I have less than 6 weeks left in this awesome country. I can't believe almost a full year has gone by since I first arrived Down Under - it feels like weeks!
The girls weekend up to Surfers Paradise was a total blast! Drin, Alethea, Jade and I partied non-stop, tanned on the beach, and drank our faces off! The trip up there was exactly what I thought it would be and more - I've even now become a surfer girl in two countries, as I successfully stood up (once, but I still did it!) on the board!
As of last week, I've now booked my final two trips around Australia. On the weekend of June 20 (my mom's birthday AND Fathers day back home!), I'll be heading up to Hamilton Island and Long Island in the Whitsundays to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef with Drin and Jess! Then the following weekend, I'm heading up to Brisbane with all the Irish boys from Scruffy's - gonna be a crazy weekend then for sure!
I'm trying to cram as much as I can into my weekends as they are now few and far between. I desperately don't want to leave Australia though, but I will make sure to enjoy every second of the next 6 weeks to the fullest to complete my adventure!
