I'm a bad blogger...

....yes I know it's been almost 2 months since my last blog update. I blame work...I feel like I live at Tommy Hilfiger lately!

For those that don't know, Art ended up not getting the job in Dallas. It's a long complicated story, but he didn't get it. He's *still* looking for something and I'm hoping he'll find something soon.

Last week, I decided to be super impulsive and I cashed in all my Aeroplan miles and bought a ticket to Tallahassee to surprise Art. He had no idea that I did it and seeing his shocked face as he entered the sushi restaurant, expecting only Atanas for lunch, was SO worth it! We hadn't seen each other in 6.5 months by that point, so I think we both really needed this past weekend.

My honey is really depressed though, about still not finding a job, and it makes me super sad. I wish there was something, anything that I could do for him, but there's nothing. I just tried to be his cheerleader while I was visiting, telling him I know that something will come up soon and that we will get through this together. I was my super cheerful, happy self the whole time, in hopes it would raise his spirits, but I don't think it helped too much. But I don't know what else I can do. I know getting a job will help, so I hope he finds something soon.

Other than that, not much is new with me. Working 40 hours a week at Tommy, planning my 10 year high school reunion (which is next month!), and looking forward to a getaway weekend in August to PEI with my mom! Summer is just flying by though....
